Not only were they very reasonably priced for an emergency visit, but they were kind enough to squeeze us into their full emergency schedule for a cat experiencing anaphylaxis. My sincerest gratitude for saving my kitty and not breaking the bank. The staff was very kind and empathetic.

This was the best experience we have ever had with our fur-babies and a veterinary office, from the front desk to the tech and the doctor! We were so impressed by the whole experience we will never go to another vet again ( unless we move far away ). We had just moved here and its always very stressful finding new medical for ourself s and our fur-babies, River Oaks made the transition effortless, they were amazing to say the least! We have found our FUREVER VET!!

This is probably going to be a long review, but it's worth it I promise. Camber was a 14 year old German shepherd at the time of her passing. Her old vet was great up until the head vet left when she was approx 8 years old. The notes in her file disappeared, specifically the one about her being compliant with owners present. This lead to multiple issues including muzzling because of her breed, which lead to massive amounts of anxiety and dread of the vet. This is when we started to look for alternatives. River Oaks animal hospital listened and the change in Cambers behavior was noticeable within the first three visits. River Oaks became our new vet. Camber no longer was anxious or freaking out about going to the vet. The staff was always friendly, listens, and became a stable for us as owners in Cambers advanced age. After learning of her passing we received a card in the mail with actual hand written condolences from the staff. This was such a step beyond normal good service. Is River Oaks a tad more expensive that some other places? Yes, but it's worth it if you actually want to provide the best care for your animals from people that truly care. We will continue to use them for our cats and future animals.
